Student health and well-being is an essential part of academic success while at WashU.
This guide provides an understanding of the best way for WashU students to access care and resources.
But before coming to campus, students must complete these important health requirements:
- Providing proof of immunizations
- Providing a health history
- Completing the Year One College Behavior Profile
Any student who has not completed these health document requirements will not be allowed to enter their residence hall.
Student health insurance
All incoming students are required to have health insurance and are automatically enrolled in the university’s health insurance plan. To opt out of this insurance, there is a waiver process that opens July 1 and must be completed annually by September 5.
