WUSA Program

WashU Student Associates (WUSAs – pronounced WOO-sah) are upper-division student leaders who assist new first-year and transfer students with their academic, social, and personal transitions to WashU. They serve as orientation leaders and as peer mentors for the student’s entire first year. Their primary duties are to remind students of academic deadlines, policies, and resources and to help build community among the first-year and transfer student groups.

First-Year (FY) WUSAs work with first-year students and assist with Fall Welcome. Transfer WUSAs work with transfer students and assist with Transfer & Exchange Fall Welcome.
