Transfer & Exchange WUSA & Programming Chair

WashU Student Associates (WUSAs – pronounced WOO-sah) are upper-division student leaders who assist new first-year, transfer, or exchange students with their academic, social, and personal transitions to WashU. They serve as orientation leaders and as peer mentors for the student’s entire first year. Their primary duties are to remind students of academic deadlines, policies, and resources and to help build community among the first-year, transfer, or exchange student groups.

First-Year (FY) WUSAs work with first-year students and assist in Bear Beginnings: Fall Welcome. Transfer & Exchange (TX) WUSAs work with either transfer or exchange students and assist in Bear Beginnings: Transfer & Exchange Fall Welcome and Winter Welcome: Spring Transfer & Exchange Student Orientation.
